Add your friends

Find your friends on Pie to follow the money updates they share and split costs together.

Find and invite friends

1. On the Home tab, tap the magnifying glass at the top.
2. Search for their name or username.
3. Tap Add. Your request shows Pending until they accept.

To find people from your contacts, tap Contacts on Pie at the top of the search screen.

If your friend isn’t on Pie yet, tap Invite a Friend below the search results to send them a link to download Pie from the App Store. Once they join, search for them and tap Add.

Accept a friend request

1. Open the Inbox tab.
2. Find their friend request and tap Accept.

You’re now friends on Pie. Your new friend can see the financial information and posts you share with Friends. You can see what they share with Friends. Items set to Only me are hidden from friends.

Connect with your significant other

Once you’re friends, open their Profile and tap What if we budgeted together?, then Ask to be significant others → Send request. After they accept, review Partner Sharing to choose what you share.
