About Pie

Pie is an app for understanding and sharing finances with friends.

Connect your financial accounts to see your income, spending, and savings. Choose what to share and who can see it, with privacy controls for each account. Accounts connect through Plaid, read only.

Why Pie exists

Money affects where we live, where we eat, and whether we can afford to take a trip. Yet we often make those decisions without discussing what each person can afford.

Pie gives those conversations a starting point. Sharing numbers can help us understand each other’s circumstances and learn how others manage their money.

That’s what social finance means to us.

Who’s building Pie

I’m Melanie, Pie’s founder. I’m building Pie so people can learn about money with people they trust.
